We hope you will be pleased with your purchase. However, if you wish to return unused items, you can do so within 14 days of receiving your original order to request a refund

Conditions of return:

  • The item must be returned within 14 days of a return request.
  • Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable
  • Buyer is responsible for return postage costs
  • Buyer is responsible for loss in value if an item isn’t returned in original condition
  • Buyer is responsible for any damage or loss during the return shipment. We recommend obtaining a certificate of posting from the delivery company to provide proof of postage.  

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. If the item is not returned in its original condition or is lost during the return shipment, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.

We will notify you once we’ve received your return and inspected the condition of the item, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be refunded for the item on your original payment method. 

To start a return, please contact us at info@merakiboutiquehome.co.uk. Please ensure you have you order number to hand and include the order number and the date the order was placed. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. Customers have 14 days from the delivery day to notify us of any issue with their items received. Please take clear photographs (a minimum of 2) showing the damage to both the packaging and the items. These photos are essential as proof that the items were damaged in transit. Without them, we cannot guarantee a free replacement

Exceptions / non-returnable items

Certain types of items cannot be returned, like custom products (such as special orders or personalised items). Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on gift cards.


Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.


Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

 

Incorrect/incomplete address

Orders will be shipped to the delivery address provided during the order placement process. We cannot accept responsibility if the address provided is incorrect or incomplete. If you realise that the wrong address was entered, please notify us as soon as possible by sending an email to info@merakiboutiquehome.co.uk. Please note that no changes can be made after the order has been dispatched.

In cases where orders are returned to the seller due to an incomplete or incorrect address, please be aware that the shipping charges are non-refundable, and additional shipping charges will apply for redelivery.
